 2023 A Clean Slate

The end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 was tumultuous. Inflation, sickness and disability, the death of a beloved bunny, a greenhouse that froze, and the death of Rocky the rooster, tornado warnings and severe storms are some sad and concerning things we dealth with.

Today is a new day. It is a new year. It seems that the message for me has been not to forget my first love. My first love is my Father in Heaven and Jesus my Savior. Faithful Watchmen dot com was my first love. I have many different web sites, but Faithful Watchmen was the first. I poured my heart into the site and wrote so many articles. A lot has happened since then, and I have learned so much more in studying the Word of God. Now is the time to return to my first love and to fix the links and update anything that doesn't work. It is time to correct anything that I have written and now have changes for.

Thank you, Lord for the new year and the clean slate. Time for introspection and updates, as well as new material!

God bless!

Is Satan Writing Your Future?
Satan uses doubt, distraction, deception and destruction
to ensure damnation

As average citizens unsure of their religion beliefs, Satan wants to take them to hell.
Hell is real torment and it is complete separation from the love of our Father in Heaven... forever! These people will be like a dead tree, bearing no good fruit, destroyed and burned.
They will be known by their fruit.

As saved Christians, Satan would love to ruin our testimony and keep us from God's work.
Could saved Christians be so deceived, that they do nothing for their God? There will be no crown. They will not lead people to Christ. They will not share God's grace with anyone. They will be like a dead tree, bearing no good fruit. They will be known by their fruit.

The difference between the two groups: God's love... His grace... our embrace and acceptance of it. Damnation vs. Redemption. If we accept God's loving gift of Jesus and believe Christ died for our sins (past, present, future), we have eternal redemption. If we never do this, we face eternal damnation.

Everyone can choose. God gave us free will.

Love Him and His gift to us - or don't.
http://www.faithfulwatchmen.com/saved.html

We need reliance, resolution, revelation and revival
to ensure redemption

The Word in the Bible is the inspired Word of God. Not men's words, but God's words. We need to rely on it. We need faith. We need to speak the Word and act on it in faith. We believe it before we see it. We are God's servants and He will use us for good! We need and proclaim this strength. Satan nurtures and cripples with doubt. We need to march forward with RELIANCE on the Word, instead of stumbling around in faithless DOUBT.

We need to stop being distracted by idols, like priorities, money, stress and time. We need to make a resolution and serve Christ and honor our Father in Heaven. There is not a lot of time to  share salvation through Christ. Satan
keeps people busy with all types of stress including wars, division, poverty and tension. We are filled with the Holy Spirit, so who can defeat us? We need RESOLUTION to share God's Word and not fall prey to the DISTRACTION of Satan and the world.

If we are Watchmen, we need to identify the deception in the world and we need to be a light burning brightly for Christ. God has already conquered evil. Our job is to shine for God. Satan loses and we already know that, so let's not be obsessed with that! Let's be concerned with shining the light and hope of Jesus and sharing Him with others! If we hide our candle under the bushel we are submitting to Satan and the world's approval! We must shine brightly and never submit to what the world considers "okay" and we must not abide by Satan's rules. Satan purposely lies, tells people there are other ways to heaven and says there is no God! We can share the REVELATION of God's Word against the DECEPTION Satan tries to overwhelm and confuse us with!

When we see a world going bad and destruction all around us, we can be encouraged in these end times. As one individual person, we can love our neighbor and we can share Christ. Satan says there is no hell, entices with riches, says there is no eternity, causes financial ruin, persecutes and harms people. White robes will be given to those who overcome. We need to be persistent and stand for God. As Christians, individually and as a group, God can use us to  lead a REVIVAL in the midst of DESTRUCTION all around us.

God gave us free will. We make choices in life. We can make good choices or bad choices.

If we choose God and Christ, we choose God's gift and REDEMPTION.
If we choose Satan and the world, we choose God's wrath and DAMNATION.
It is black and white... there is no gray.
God has no tolerance for gray - no middle ground... we are either for Him or against Him.

God is pure holiness and cannot tolerate any evil, no matter how small.
That is why God gave us a gift of love - His Son, Jesus, as the sacrificial lamb... to provide forgiveness for sins of all size and for all time. Without Christ, we are all guilty - none are perfect - no not one. We can't earn it. We can just accept God's love and keep Jesus' commandments: love the Father with all our hearts and love our neighbors. Each day, the choice is simple:

Satan will start to fight and fight hard, because he only has a little time left.
How prepared are you? How strong are you in your faith? Will something in the future shake your faith? Will you feel like a grasshopper and overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit? Will you shine or hide? If something really horrible happens and really seems confusing or devastating, do you have the rock of the Word to stand firm on? Read the Bible today and every day. Arm yourself with truth, be brave, choose good and be the vessel God can use!

GOD's LOVE: Passover, Good Friday and Easter

God loves us for all time and desires to have a relationship with us! He led His people out of slavery to the ultimate freedom through Christ. No matter what we are guilty of, we are free from that sin. All of our sins are forgiven and we have a close relationship with God the Father, because Christ gave His life for us. He was the sacrificial lamb. When we think of the bigger picture, Romans and Jews did not kill Christ. God designed through his mercy and love for Christ to lay down His life for us. Christ willingly gave His life for us. Christ willingly was separated from the Father for a period of time for us. When He asked that the cup might be passed from Him, it wasn't that He was afraid to be nailed to a cross and die. He didn't want to be separated from the Father's love and He didn't want to be immersed in evil or see hell. But, He did this for love. He did this for us! Christ died, rose again and we, as saved Christians, are filled with the Holy Spirit! He lives within us! We can do all things through faith. We should start doing them. We should start believing that through us, God can do great things in this world. We should be inspired and we should submit to Him. When we say "I surrender all" then we can truly live life. By the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the glory of God - we will do great things! In this world today, more than ever, we must shine as that light - that beacon of hope! There is no greater thing to share today, than the sacrifice of Christ and the grace of God. Thank you Father for all your blessings. Amen.

The Slippery Slope and the Fort on the Cliff

Society is degrading, the moral condition is declining and we begin to accept the unacceptable more and more.

It is ironic that right is being viewed as wrong and wrong is being viewed as right.

What is the definition of right and wrong? The definition in society of right or wrong has become how many people agree with you. It is like a popularity contest. If everyone thinks something is good, then it is good. If everyone thinks something is bad, then it is bad. People in society are beginning to think they are gods. They make the rules.

We all do know the clear difference between good and bad, based on a moral compass. The moral compass we grow up with tells us that something is acceptable or unacceptable. The Bible tells us what is right and wrong, so that we can avoid sadness and live an enjoyable life doing the rights things. Churches should encourage the people. Parents should teach their children. Parents should elect good people in to political office.

Right and wrong is black or white - not gray. There is not a middle ground in deciding if something is right/good or wrong/evil. We can't be partly good and partly evil. We can't be gray. We can't be lukewarm. Read more here.

If we look at video games and TV, we see visual images that cause us to lose our compassion for others. If we immerse ourselves in these visual images, we can't see people the same way. If our emotions are absorbed in anger, violence, sexual immorality, occult, blood and hate, how can we know what is right and good? After a period of time, reality and virtuality become one.

We need to stop letting ourselves get forced down the slippery slope. We are slipping into a place of no return. We are losing ground and we are watching our friends, relatives, neighbors and acquaintances slip away into the "gray zone."

We see our Constitutional rights being ignored or taken away, as well. Freedom of speech and the right to bear arms are two issues currently at risk. We need to be able to stand for what is right. We need to stand for what is good. Government should not be tyrannical or take away our legal rights.

Each person needs to examine how they live and if it is good or bad. We need to choose good. We need to do what is right. We need to defend what is right. If we don't, we are about to go over a cliff like we have been hearing about in the news. This is the proverbial place of no return.

So, we need to build a fort on the cliff. We need to stand and defend what is right. We need to defend our country, our Christianity, our neighbors, our morals and our family. If we do not stand fast, then we will lose more and more and slip off the cliff. The fort we build needs to be a place of comfort and encouragement for others. We need to set an example and help people see what is right.

In America today, we need to pray for our country, encourage our political servants, support our churches, nurture our families and make a conscious choice to do the right things. We are surrounded with gray, with bad and with evil. It is ugly. From the fort on the cliff we can see the sun rising on a new day. We can see the rise of the Son in our Christian hearts, set to be an example for others to see. We are the Watchmen for the return of Jesus Christ.

Trust and Obey

There is so much going on in this world today that upsets us, scares us and tries to rob us of hope. People of faith, and those without faith, are all affected. Everyone wants to have hope.

Our country is under attack, our morals are under attack and our everyday lives are under attack. We don't see hope, feel hope or share hope with others.

The question associated with this problem is interesting. Do we trust and obey God? Where do we put our trust and who do we obey? Even if we are Christians, professing Christians or non-Christians, the question remains the same. Do we lack hope because we do not trust God? Do we lack hope because we do not obey God? As a person, as a faith, and as a nation - do we see hope, feel hope or share hope with others? The answer is lukewarm. The answer is maybe, a little bit, and sometimes. We are lukewarm.

When we are lukewarm, we do not trust and obey. And we lack hope. When we lack hope we do not share our faith, and we experience life through a mind, eyes and heart without hope. We are doing something wrong.

Jesus tells us what he thinks of being lukewarm when He spoke about the Laodiceans:

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Everyone must study the scriptures on their own, to understand what God wishes you to learn. It is clear that God does not wish for us to be lukewarm, that He wants us to have hope and He wants us to trust and obey.

What helps us trust, obey and have hope? When we wake up each day we should be thankful. Thankful to breathe and know that God gives us that very breath. There is no guarantee we will be here to wake up tomorrow. This day, we are thankful and we pray to God. If we don't like talking to God then maybe there is something wrong in our lives that we feel guilt for or we feel we might have to change something in our lives. That's ok - have comfort in the fact there are no perfect people. Jesus Christ was the only perfect man - because He is God as man. We just can't be perfect so forget the guilt of not being perfect. Ask God for forgiveness and repent of sin! Know that He has a plan for salvation - as a gift for you. He gave His son, Jesus, to pay for your sins on the cross. If you repent and ask God for forgiveness and to come into your heart, you are forgiven and He comes into your heart. Jesus left us with the Comforter before He rose to heaven, promising to come back.

So! We are forgiven, we're not perfect, the Holy Spirit lives in us and Jesus is coming back! In a nutshell, that is pretty awesome and amazing!

Should we therefore be lukewarm in anything we do? Certainly not! We should be fired up - we see the end times - we see the signs - and this is no time to be fooling around. We need to be serious about our lives. Jesus told us not to be lukewarm and He told us to share the gospel! If we do as He asked, we will see hope, feel hope and share hope. Others will see our lives as an example!

Every problem and care in this world will melt away and become insignificant. God will handle everything for us! If we trust and obey His word, have faith and share hope, we will be living as He intended. When we let God rule our lives, our problems are still there - the fallen world still tries to affect us, but it has no power over us! We can relax, knowing God uses all to work good for His glory! If our road is hard now, it is because we are headed for higher ground! The message preached by Jentezen Franklin says its ok to be between a rock and a hard place - we will get through it - and we are headed to higher ground where God can use us! Having faith we know one door closes and another one opens. - Maybe we're in the hallway - and no door has opened. It will. We trust and obey, we have faith and we therefore have hope.

We can't focus on the world and the gloom and doom and the things that upset us. We are bigger than that - we have an important role to fulfill. We need to know God, to share the gospel, to realize the Holy Spirit lives in us and to realize our focus in life is to be on God - not on the world. God loves us and wants to use us in a mighty way. To bring honor and Glory to God! We are each special in our own way and we are each being formed into a person who can do great things for God! With this knowledge, we need to stop being lukewarm! We need to stop seeing "gray", "sitting on the fence" and being "politically correct"! We need to choose. We are for God or we are against God. No more lukewarm. When we choose to be living for God, we have hope. We trust Him and obey Him. The pressure of the world will not have power over us. God will use us to do His work and we will see His power over our lives!

OUR LIVES

Jn 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21

- - - - - -

Each day that we wake up, we hurry to get things accomplished and meet obligations at a mad pace. We are at the mercy of a system that demands from us more than we can deliver.

If all of a sudden we were in a slow motion perspective, how would we live life in general? If we were in such slow motion that we did not draw a breath in – until we thought about the act of inhaling - how would we value life? If we were in such slow motion that we did not put one foot in front of the other – until we thought about each step - what direction would we go? If we were in slow motion enough that we did not speak one word – until we thought about each syllable – what would we say to others?

If we slow down and really consider our lives, we learn the fundamentals that God has given us. We do not draw in even one breath unless God gives us that breath of life. We do not take even one step unless God gives us the strength to move in any direction. We do not speak even one word unless God gives us the words to utter to others.

Up until this point, we really give no consideration to the miracle of God’s plan for our lives. We do not grasp the complete concept, anyway, which is mainly it is not OUR life. We inhale and exhale because God wills it, and we walk and speak because God enables us to do so. This life is a gift and at any moment our life could be over.

Nothing about our lives comes from our own power. God gives us our life to live and He also gives us our finances, belongings, skills, people to love and gifts. Life and everything in it is precious.

God the Father gave us His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins so that we can spend eternity with Him. God gave us the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, to help us until Jesus comes again. Jesus told us He was leaving us a comforter – the Holy Spirit – and that the Holy Spirit would live in us. As believers who trust in Jesus, we know Christ died and shed his blood for our sins because we are lost sinners who deserve to go to hell. What a concept it is to comprehend - that part of God as the Holy Spirit lives in our bodies! Because of these facts, we know we must be pretty special. God must value us and love us so much because He gave His Son and gave us a comforter to dwell in us.

God has told us that we have a sinful nature, that we cannot be perfect and that He gave us free will. We have the power to choose what direction we go and what words we speak to others. Free will is a responsibility. We can choose and refuse to consider what God intends for our lives, thus being less fruitful. Or, we can choose and do what we know God intends for our lives. We are here to please God, to worship God and to love God, as well as share His story with others and bring them to know the salvation of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit lives in us. Consider what this means! God lives in us because we trust Jesus as Savior of our lives. The Holy Spirit indwells in our very hearts and bodies. If this does not humble us and bring us to our knees in thanksgiving and praise, nothing will!

So, in considering our lives in slow motion… before we breathe in, we say thank you, God for our very breath. That we take nothing for granted, we thank our Father in Heaven for our finances, family, loved ones, jobs, gifts and so much more! He gives us these things so that we can complete His mission in our life He has given us.

What, if anything, will we contribute from living our life - that has lasting impact - for our fellow human beings? What is our purpose in our daily walk in this life? Can we accomplish God’s purpose without God? No.

Every moment of every day we should know that we only live because God gives us that gift. If we surrender our life to God, He can do great things though us. Our will has to be to do the will of our Heavenly Father. Nothing in life is more important than the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you give your life to God completely each day, He can use you to do His mighty work.

Your life, your gifts, your finances are all from God. If we put all of this in God’s hands and ask how we might better serve Him, and mean it, we will do God’s will. We cannot be part of the world’s system even though we live in it. We cannot value possessions, people, status or any thing more than God.

What could God use us to accomplish in our daily life? We might consider that He says to be still and know that He is God. So whatever you encounter in life, He is there to take you through it, to it or around it. He enables us. You may have to handle some hard situations or He could help you avoid those hard situations or He could remove you from the situation and call you home. If you share the gospel with others, their lives could be changed forever – and as born-again believers in Jesus Christ, they will spend eternity in heaven! What in life could be more important and fulfilling?

We must have the faith to let go and let God work through us. He will not let us starve and all we have to do is surrender our lives to Him and do great work! We can’t be lazy in our approach to life and we can’t partake in the activities of the world. We must watch, pray, fight for what is right, be patriots to our Constitution and worship with fellow believers. We have a lot to accomplish for God if we are in His will. We must slow down and realize our breath, steps and words come from God. More, than that we must comprehend what it means to have the Holy Spirit indwell in our very bodies. We must acknowledge Him, listen to Him and praise Him. The Holy Spirit gave men the Word of God in scripture, tells the truth, teaches, protects, brings teachings to remembrance, comforts, will testify of Jesus and glorify Him, helps with our infirmities and prays to God on your behalf, and He reproves the world of sin and righteousness and judgment. The Holy Spirit shows you things to come, anoints people to preach, guides, convinces, commands and more.

Knowing all this, as the Holy Spirit lives within each Believer, why would we lack faith to be able to accomplish great things for God? What could seem impossible to us? What worldly thing could conquer our enthusiasm and persecute us? Why would we be afraid of people or feel insecure sharing the gospel? Why would we care what any one person thought of us and be intimidated into running away from our mission?

It is a matter of faith and total surrender. Our life is not our own, so we should not act selfishly, as though we have some power separate from God to control our own destiny! Life is an adventure from God and we need to enjoy it, feel empowered by Him and do His will!

Watch, Pray and Share the Salvation Jesus Christ provides… work, as God leads in your life, and do not deny the gifts He has given you. You are enabled by the Holy Spirit to do great things for God. Be humble and stand firm. Be the candle that lights the night - and shows the way – not the candle hidden under the bushel.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow….!

TO HIM THAT OVERCOMETH

When the Book of Revelation is mentioned, most people might think of prophecy and end times. I have read this very confusing book of the Bible many times to try and better my understanding of what is to come in God's final judgement of this world. This is one of my favorite books of the Bible, as well as Daniel and the Gospel of John. Reading and studying Revelation so many times has led me to understand that this awesome message from God is not only about the wrath of God to come, but also about God’s Love and and His promise to the faithful. In Revelation, JESUS tells us to overcome evil and the sins of this world, and then goes on to tell us of the amazing things He will give us and what He has in store for the ones that do overcome evil and temptation. Consider these verses from Revelation:

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Rev 2:26,27,28,29 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:5,6 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:12,13 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 3:20,21,22 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 21:1,2,3,4,5,6,7 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

WOW... to me that is a powerful message, full of promises and gifts we will be given from God if only we worship Him, God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit, and accept Jesus as our saviour, and do our best to overcome the evils of this world. Praise God for sending Jesus for you and me. Praise Jesus for dying for you and me and for his victory over evil and death, and for His salvation. Praise the Holy Spirit for teaching me, showing me, and guiding me every day to keep Jesus first in all things and to strive to be closer and closer to him as I await him with open arms on my knees. Please come quickly Lord Jesus, even so, Amen.

FOUNDATIONS OF AMERICA

America has always been known for its patriots and for its compassion, because it was founded by people who understood what it took to develop a society that was morally balanced, prosperous and faithful. People worked hard, enjoyed time to play, fought for what was right and went to church. Generations later, people worked hard, played hard, fought less for what was right and went to church less. Nowadays people hardly work, seldom play, don’t fight for what is right and don’t go to church.

People don’t seem to notice the changes because they happen so slowly, but in the last five years the changes are happening faster and faster. In the last couple of weeks the infringements on our rights have increased in record number. This is a downward progression to losing the America we used to love and would die to protect. People don’t care what America used to stand for or what it means to be an American. People don’t want to work and if they do, they want to earn big money and they certainly don’t want to invent or make anything of substance. We are a nation of consumers – we take and take and do not give back. We throw away anything that does not please us, provide us with instant gratification or provide us with anything that satisfies our various selfish desires.

Citizens of the USA have slowly cultivated a morally unbalanced, economically depressed and faithless society. Justice is no longer served; politicians are corrupt and no longer represent the will of the people. The will of the people, despite the decline of American society, is that there still exists a core belief of our forefathers that survives within each person. We long for what has been fought for, the freedoms, the strong family and the comfort of a secure nation. We love to hear stories of the days gone by and we have a passion for browsing antiques that somehow capture an era that celebrated wholesomeness. We long for the balance between work, play and worship.

FROM VIGILANCE TO BLINDNESS

Everyone who remembers the New York City terrorist attack of 9-11 can re-count stories of heroism, selfless acts of mercy, endless hours of work, increased enlistment in the military and unlimited hours of prayer. The America people joined forces and helped one another in an effort to heal the nation, because this tragedy affected everyone. We were in fear and we were angry. We were alive and energetic, protecting our own and ready to kill the enemy. Ready to fight for what was right, defending our way of life and the things we held dear.

So what has happened? What allows terrorism to infiltrate quietly and enables a silent war to be un-named. What enables politicians to develop hidden agendas, allows borders to dissolve and seeps into our children’s lives like the poison? When the highest offices in the land do not follow the Constitution, do not strive for justice, help the poor or encourage free commerce, we have anarchy. We have apathy. The biggest enemy from within – we are divided and will be conquered.

WHEN RIGHT IS WRONG

When you look around you, it is apparent that everything is out of control. We have border guards that were imprisoned for defending borders. We are releasing information that weakens national security. Special interest groups are trading core values in exchange for political advantage. We have a President in office that never proved the natural-born citizenship requirement or had a background investigation that security-cleared military personnel would need to pass. Laws are being proposed and passed that defy the intent of the nation’s Constitution, deny basic freedoms, destroy family values and spend our children’s money to pay for our present economic problems. Our soldiers are being slandered and profiled. Our right to bear arms is being threatened. Many children don’t even know one of their parents, some parents are the same sex and God has been taken out of classrooms, public buildings, oaths and as much of American life as possible.

A RESOLUTION

Wake up, America! Its time for a Revolution! We could take our country back, choose to bear arms and defeat the enemy both foreign and domestic. We could remove the people that are committing treason, acting in a seditious manner and are purposely destroying the America we long to restore. But there is another type of Revolution we can safely promote, that accomplishes goals, establishes a foothold and lives will be enriched; not lost.

The United States of America has a foundation that it was built upon, documents that outline how our country should function to protect its people and checks and balances to ensure that an abuse of power does not happen. The quality of life is nurtured. The government is supposed to serve the people – not persecute the people, oppress, depress and destroy them. It is truly time for a Revolution in America!

What type of Revolution would accomplish the most and still glorify God? It is time to fight in America – fight for what is right, fight for freedom and fight to preserve the foundation our country was built upon - to survive. Fight to survive or our beloved country will cease to exist. What can we do?

THE WORK

Christians, and non-Christians alike, we need to look around us. We need to see, hear, read, learn, listen to what is being said and done around us. We need to understand the proposed and passing laws, the justice system, the law enforcement and the political atmosphere and agenda. We need to care deeply and have a passion for bringing our country back. We need to understand what it means to be American, in terms of working hard, taking time to enjoy playing, preserving the family unit, fighting for what is right and worshiping our Father in Heaven.

As we understand our mission to take back our country and understand it is a do or die situation, we realize the meaning of being a patriot. We realize that we will lose our country and our freedom and our way of life if we do not fight. What is a patriot? A patriot will risk all to preserve what it means to be American as defined in the Constitution. Are we patriots and do we have what it takes to live as real Americans? Yes, some do know and some will because of what we do.

GOOD AND RIGHT AND IN THE LIGHT

The left thinking people are considering right thinking people as extremists. The idea that being right is “extreme” is an interesting concept. Most people nowadays are wrong in their thinking, so they would think us a little extreme then. Society now condones same sex marriage and coddles homosexuality. The soldiers are being profiled to be potential terrorists! What an insult this is to our men and women in uniform, as they go from shedding their blood to defend the country to being labeled as potential criminals! We cannot thank these soldiers enough – we owe them so much.

Being correct in this lifetime is NOT determined by how many people agree with you. Moral decline leads the majority on a pathway to hell. Those who are not blinded will see the difference between right and wrong as determined by God the Father.

OUR PURPOSE

Since our country was founded on Christian values, citizens trusted God and made provisions to secure a future that preserved our rights and we can use that core starting point. We need to question ourselves and whether or not we really believe that God our Father wants us to make some changes in our own individual lives. Do we realize that the only reason we breathe, have what we have or live in the country we do, is because God gives us those rights?

We need to pray for our country on a daily basis, asking God to give us strength for the work ahead. We need to ask for help prioritizing our own lives and maybe make some changes as to what we spend time doing each day. We need to consider how we treat others and what really matters. Much of what we need to think about is similar to how we felt on 9-12-2001. Remember how we changed our thinking, changed what we did and realized it was war?

FIGHTING THE WAR

Things are different today in some unsettling ways. The situation is confusing to us because the terrorists, infiltrators and enemies are different than we are used to confronting. Now, we have unknown terrorists, legal and illegal immigrants, political forces and fellow citizen enemies. Psychologically, it is hard for us to take a stand on fellow Americans or people within the borders of our country.

The test to determine if our thinking is correct – is easy. Use the Constitution. Read the document itself. Think about the intentions and the reasons for the wording and what it protects. Think about how great America has been and how many people have died to preserve our freedoms. With this mindset, we know what we are fighting for and how life in America should be lived.

As a patriot we should pray for our country, live according to the Constitution and fight for what is right. At home, our mindset and how we live each day is the next step after personal inventory and praying. We need to nurture and give loving attention to our relationships including spouses, children and our families. We need to make sure we help neighbors, seniors and youth in practical ways.

We need to find a church that teaches fundamental Christian values, enjoy fellowship and worship. Even if it seems like work or seems inconvenient, we need to do it. We are trying to recover what has been lost and fight for what is right. As Americans we are Christians and non-Christians alike. God intends for us to know Him, love Him and to serve Him with a joyous heart to be happy. We should try to understand this concept.

NO LONGER BLIND, NO MORE EXCUSES

After a few weeks of following God’s will for our lives we will see encouragement and results. Our hearts will be healed and our eye will be opened. Our habits, sicknesses and personal inventory will start to be something we deal with daily, instead of try to escape. Christians still are alcoholics, do drugs and abuse each other. If we really address the issues and become close to God, we can begin to heal these problems by asking for help and taking steps that lead to more healthy lives. We stop looking the other way, stop escaping and stop saying there is no hope. We help ourselves and help each other - because God enables us do that.

We see the politicians making new laws so they can avoid breaking old laws and we see politicians who serve special interest and take bribes and act corruptly. We need to address every issue that comes along. We continually speak out against the politicians who do not represent us. We answer polls, we send e-mails and we protest wrongful acts. We find the political representatives that serve the American people, who follow the Constitution and we support them. We send them e-mails, call them, we donate money to their cause and we speak out about each proposed law that we can. This takes work and it may seem like they don’t listen to us, but they will. We encourage the politicians who are good and discourage the politicians who are bad.

BEHAVE AS PATRIOTS

Fly our American flag at your home and look at it each day, knowing how many died for it and are dying for it and everything it stands for in our country. Honor our soldiers, send them packages and donate to veteran hospitals. Visit disabled soldiers in the various facilities where they live throughout the nation.

Pray to our Father in Heaven, both in thanksgiving and in praise. Pray for forgiveness for all backsliding behavior and ask for those things that strengthen your faith and help you glorify God. Ask the Holy Spirit to pray for you when you are weak or can’t find the words.

REVELATION

If everyone in your own family was able to accomplish these few basics to start with - and imagine if everyone you know was able to accomplish these things in their own families. It would change the way we all live our lives! It would change America!

Our last great hope is to not only hold on to our great nation, but to go back to the way of life that made the USA great! Back to a simpler, more honest grassroots life, appreciating what we have, saving money and spending time.
Spending time with family and doing the work we were asked to do.
Our hope lies with God in Heaven – and His love being showered upon an overwhelmingly repentant, re-dedicated Christian nation.
